In his inaugural speech, CEO Lee said, "Leaders must take the lead especially in difficult tasks, and the sole criterion for all decision-making should be Hana Bank." He added, "We will build a culture of listening, honest communication, and strong trust within the organization to create a 'bank stronger in crisis' and a 'healthy Hana Bank.'
CEO Lee emphasized focusing on three key tasks for Hana Bank to leap forward as a bank stronger in crisis and a leading bank: 'customers,' 'field,' and 'strengths.'
He expressed his intention to root a 'customer first' corporate culture, and plans to focus on the 'field' by fostering experts in core business areas such as pensions, IB, global, and IT to realize differentiated sales. Additionally, he aims to strengthen the bank further by concentrating on its 'strengths' in asset management, corporate finance, and foreign exchange.
He also presented six major management strategies to strengthen the bank's constitution and status. The six strategies are ▲strengthening competitiveness in the bank's core business ▲synergy centered on non-interest income strengths ▲strengthening offline sales competitiveness ▲digitalization of sales and headquarters ▲becoming the number one global Hana Bank in the Asia region ▲and Hana Bank as a brand trusted by all.

Meanwhile, CEO Lee joined the bank through Korea Exchange Bank and gained comprehensive experience in core banking operations such as strategy, risk management, and finance while working as a stock and derivatives dealer and in the General Planning Department, Risk Management Department, Financial Planning Department, and IR team. He later served as CFO of Hana Financial Group, was CEO of Hana Life Insurance last year, and was appointed CEO of Hana Bank this year.
