Gwangju Nam-gu Provides New Jobs for Employment-Vulnerable Residents
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is providing New Year's jobs to vulnerable residents.
On the 2nd, Nam-gu announced plans to offer new jobs to 79 vulnerable individuals, including managing the North Cafe at the Comprehensive Civil Service Office.
Recruitment targets residents aged 18 or older registered in the district, who have a household income at or below 70% of the median income and household assets of 400 million KRW or less, and who are capable of working.
Working conditions vary by project, with weekly hours ranging from 15 to 40. The hourly wage is approximately 9,620 KRW, with additional payments for transportation, snacks, and weekly/monthly leave allowances. Enrollment in the four major social insurances is mandatory.
Applications can be submitted from today until the 6th by visiting the reception desk on the first floor of Nam-gu Office or the administrative welfare center of the applicant's local neighborhood office.
