On the 28th, LG Display announced that it will set up a dedicated automotive display booth for the first time at the Mobility Technology Pavilion of CES 2023, located in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). At this event, it plans to introduce next-generation automotive display solutions to global automotive parts and finished car customers.
LG Display is strategically growing automotive displays as a momentum for growth. It aims to make it a pillar of its order-based business and increase added value. The theme of this exhibition is also set as 'Advanced Mobility Lifestyle.' The plan is to captivate customers not only with visual technology but also with sound technology.

It features LG's unique characteristics of maintaining excellent image quality while being lightweight and flexible. It is said to be suitable for implementing ergonomic curved designs.
LTPS LCD (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon Liquid Crystal Display) will also be exhibited. LTPS LCD is advantageous for larger sizes and higher resolution compared to conventional LCDs. It incorporates innovative product features pursued by LG Display, such as extra-large size, low power consumption, ultra-high brightness, and differentiated design. This aligns with the company's recent management policy to produce products optimized for future automobiles.
Innovative technologies such as glasses-free 3D instrument panels and viewing angle control technology will also be showcased in large numbers. The 'Automotive Sound Solution,' which received the CES 2023 Innovation Award, will also be exhibited. This product uses a film-type exciter (vibration generating device) independently developed by LG Display, which uses the panel or vehicle interior materials as a diaphragm to produce sound. It is not visible externally, so it does not cause aesthetic discomfort, occupies less space, and produces high-quality sound.
