According to the city, to successfully carry out the '2024 World Wind Conference,' the Gwangju Organizing Committee agreed to establish a comprehensive execution plan and support all necessary aspects of conference operations, including building a website.
Additionally, the World Wind Ensemble Association included cooperation such as providing information on members and selected wind bands and ensembles before the conference.
The signing ceremony was attended by Colleen Richardson, president of the World Wind Ensemble Association, along with about 50 members from various countries.
Gwangju Mayor Bang Se-hwan emphasized "our passion and confidence in attracting the conference," adding, "We will do our best to successfully host the conference in Gwangju, Korea, where pristine natural environments and living historical culture coexist."
