[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Innocean announced on the 21st that Executive Director Kim Jeong-ah, Chief Creative Officer (CCO), has been promoted to vice president, becoming the first female vice president since the company's founding.
Vice President Kim, born in 1973, entered the advertising industry in 1996 and has produced and overseen brand campaigns for leading domestic companies such as Hyundai Motor Group, Hanwha Group, SK Telecom, Shinsegae, KT, CJ, and Kakao over 26 years. After joining Innocean in 2006, she started as a Creative Director (CD) and significantly contributed to enhancing Innocean's creative capabilities by producing and managing various campaigns, the company said.
Vice President Kim has also contributed to raising the status of Korean advertising by serving as a juror at prestigious global advertising festivals such as the Cannes International Advertising Festival, New York Festivals, One Show, and Clio Awards. In 2020 and last year, she was ranked 'No. 1 Korean Creative Director' for two consecutive years by the global advertising magazine Campaign Brief Asia. She is also credited with contributing to Innocean's selection as the 'No. 1 Korean Advertising Company in the Asia Region.' Recently, Vice President Kim received the Industrial Medal at the '2022 Government Awards Ceremony for Distinguished Advertisers,' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
