The ‘DB Insurance Transportation and Environment Challenge’ is a social contribution project hosted by DB Insurance, organized by the Environmental Foundation and the Korea Productivity Center, and supported by the Ministry of Environment.
The Social Venture Conference is an event to share the achievements of the five teams that were finally selected as the 4th cohort social ventures last September.
This year, along with the social achievements created by the 4th cohort, a VC (Venture Capital) panel talk was held as a platform for exchange aimed at sustainable growth.
Presentations of achievements by each company also followed. Companies such as ‘Gray2Paste’, which develops a school bus solution utilizing GPS (Global Positioning System)-based AI (Artificial Intelligence); ‘Juchajang Mandeuneun Saramdeul’, which develops a parking sharing platform using idle parking spaces; and ‘Shellpia’, which develops eco-friendly deicing materials by upcycling oyster shell waste, introduced their projects and achievements and revealed their future growth plans.
