On the 18th, the Korea Christian Federation, through a Christmas message signed by Representative Chairman Lee Young-hoon, stated, "The birth of Jesus who came to this land 2000 years ago carries the meaning of humility, peace, restoration, and hope," and added, "We hope that God's grace and peace will be abundant on this land."
It continued, "Jesus came as a servant and became a model of humility even unto death. Jesus' humility is exactly what our society needs," and said, "We also hope to overcome division, harmonize and unite, achieve a history of unity and integration, and open an era of peaceful reunification."
Furthermore, it emphasized, "We pray that the war between Russia and Ukraine will end and be restored to a peaceful state. We also pray that COVID-19 disappears and life returns to normal," and added, "Conflicts and disputes must disappear, and an era of restoration through dialogue and cooperation must be opened."

Meanwhile, on the 16th, the National Council of Churches in Korea (NCCK) delivered a Christmas message signed by Chairman Kang Yeon-hong and General Secretary Lee Hong-jung, stating, "The news of Christmas is a message of justice that heals and restores the deep wounds left by global political and economic polarization and social division, the war in Ukraine and the strengthening of the new Cold War order amid US-China conflicts, the war crisis on the Korean Peninsula, the crisis of labor, widespread hatred and discrimination, the Itaewon tragedy and unjust deaths caused by natural disasters," and urged, "Let us live a life of love that comforts and unites those in pain by believing and practicing what we hope for."
