View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] On Monday the 19th, severe cold will continue nationwide, with heavy snowfall expected in some areas. Cold wave warnings have been issued for the central region, Gyeongbuk area, and inland Jeonbuk.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 18th, heavy snow will fall mainly along the west coast of Chungnam, western Jeolla region, and Jeju Island until tomorrow morning. Some areas may experience strong snowfalls of 1 to 3 cm per hour accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning.
Expected snowfall amounts are 3 to 8 cm for the west coast of Chungnam, Jeonbuk (excluding northeastern inland Jeonbuk), western Jeonnam, Jeju Island (excluding coastal areas), and Ulleungdo and Dokdo. The mid-mountain areas of the west coast of Jeonnam and Jeju Island are expected to receive over 10 cm, and the west coast of Jeonbuk and mountainous areas of Jeju Island over 15 cm of snow.
Inland Chungnam, northeastern inland Jeonbuk, eastern Jeonnam, Jeju coastal areas, and the five western islands in the West Sea are expected to receive 1 to 5 cm. Western inland Gyeongnam is forecasted to have around 1 cm, and western inland Gyeongbuk less than 0.1 cm of snow flurries.
Morning low temperatures are observed between -18 and -2 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between -4 and 6 degrees Celsius.

Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

Sea waves are predicted to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the South Sea.
