Samyang Foods Launches Premium Dried Noodles 'Cutique Essential Jjajang'
Launch of Noodle Brand COOTIQUE: A New Type of Dried Noodles Boiled and Dried in Water
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Samyang Foods announced on the 16th that it is launching the dried noodle brand 'Cootique' and introducing its first product, 'Cootique Essential Jjajang.'
Cootique is a compound word of COOK and BOUTIQUE, meaning a noodle boutique that proposes high-quality noodles inspired by various noodle dishes from around the world.
The noodles of the Cootique brand are characterized by being boiled in water and dried at low temperature for a long time, unlike other dried noodles that are steamed and dried at high temperature. As the first boiled dried noodles introduced in the domestic ramen market, the straight-shaped noodles similar to fresh noodles offer a soft and chewy texture.
The new product, Cootique Essential Jjajang, allows you to enjoy the rich flavor of jjajang with a thick liquid sauce that captures the sweetness of onions and the savory taste of jjajang as if freshly stir-fried in a hot wok. It contains large flakes that preserve the texture of raw ingredients such as onions, potatoes, cabbage, and seasoned beef, and the separately included seasoned oil further emphasizes the aroma of onions.
