Pukyong National University HK Research Professor Kim Kyung-ah Receives Northeast Asian Cultural Studies Association Outstanding Paper Award
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Kim Kyung-ah, HK Research Professor (HK+ Project Group) at Pukyong National University, received the Excellent Paper Award at the 45th Northeast Asian Cultural Studies Society Autumn Joint International Conference.
She was recognized for her paper titled "China's Foreign Aid in the 1960s-70s through Yangbanxi (Model Operas) Haikang (Seaports)" presented at the recent conference held at Hyogo University in Japan.
This paper analyzed the Yangbanxi Haikang, a form of stage art designed to promote the ideology and policies of the Communist Party, to study the direction and characteristics of China's foreign aid policies in the 1960s and 1970s.
