BTS RM Releases Music Video for Follow-up Song 'Still Life'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The music video for "Still Life," the follow-up track from BTS leader RM's first solo album "Indigo," was released on the 7th.
According to his agency Big Hit Music, "Still Life" is a title with a double meaning, combining its original meaning of "still life" (靜物) with "It's still life," implying "life continues."
Regarding the song, RM explained that although it is a still life preserved in a frame, it is still alive and will move forward without being confined to this frame.
The music video begins with RM sitting in a train seat running somewhere, holding a notebook and deep in thought. The dramatic scene transitions combined with the emotional tone of the music create a sentimental atmosphere.
The video visualizes the themes of life and still life through the doodles in the notebook and the space of the train, respectively.
RM's first solo album "Indigo" consists of 10 tracks, all of which he participated in writing and composing.
