Gangwon Provincial Police Agency stated on the 30th, "To safely protect normal transport vehicles that feel uneasy due to illegal parking and transport obstruction related to the collective transport refusal by the Cargo Solidarity of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, we are providing police patrol car escorts."
According to Gangwon police, when drivers or companies concerned about conflicts with Cargo Solidarity members request escort, traffic patrol cars and sidecars are placed in front and behind to safely support them up to the highway tollgate entrance.
