[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Nguyen Xuan Phuc, President of Vietnam, is scheduled to visit Korea and meet with business leaders.
According to industry sources on the 29th, President Phuc will attend the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum held on the 6th of next month at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry building in Seoul, hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and four other major economic organizations. He is expected to deliver a keynote speech at the event.
The forum will discuss ways to expand Korean companies' investments in Vietnam and enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, with business agreements (MOUs) expected to be signed between companies from both nations.
It is also reported that President Phuc is coordinating a schedule to meet with heads of domestic companies, including Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, the day before the forum.

President Phuc previously visited Korea in 2019 during his tenure as Prime Minister and attended the same forum, meeting with Korean business leaders.
