[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 25th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 24th that it will hold a "Talent Sharing Night," where the Single Bungle Seoul Supporters, a group for single-person households, showcase and share their talents at Seoul City Hall.
The "Talent Sharing Night" event, which concludes the supporters' activities for this year, was organized with the purpose of donating talents to areas where single-person households feel inconvenienced or need help from others, and to form a loose solidarity. The Single Bungle Seoul Supporters recruitment announcement was made last May, with 185 applicants participating, and after document and interview screenings, a final 50 were selected.
At this "Talent Sharing Night," the supporters will present their talents and wisdom based on their life experiences and occupations. Since the supporters come from diverse professions such as students, office workers, self-employed, and freelancers, a fun and varied range of talent sharing and donation methods will be introduced.
The event will also share the achievements of the Single Bungle Seoul Supporters and include an awards and encouragement session for outstanding participants. On September 3rd, at the "Single-Person Household Policy Idea Presentation," one team received the grand prize and two teams received excellence awards, and they will be awarded certificates from the Mayor of Seoul.
Based on the achievements of the Single Bungle Seoul Supporters, which were operated for the first time this year, Seoul plans to diversify the supporter participation targets next year to include disabled single-person households and strengthen the supporters' promotional activities.
