Emergency Response Team Leader Jeong Manki: "Real-Time Monitoring of Industry Damage... Joint Response with Government"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) has launched an "Export Logistics Emergency Response Team" in response to the Cargo Solidarity Union's indefinite collective transportation refusal.
On the 23rd, KITA announced that Vice Chairman Jeong Manki has been appointed as the head of the Emergency Response Team to operate the export logistics emergency response team. The team will monitor the Cargo Solidarity Union's movements and damage situations, operate a damage reporting center, and make government recommendations to minimize export-import damages in the trade industry.
To collect field difficulties and damage cases, KITA is mobilizing its Logistics Service Office, 12 domestic branches, regional shipper logistics councils (Ulsan, Busan, Incheon, Gwangju-Jeonnam), and 27 partner companies providing logistics consulting services. Damage reports can be submitted online through the notice section on KITA's website or by phone (Emergency Response Team).

It is important for shippers to actively report damages and difficulties caused by this Cargo Solidarity Union's collective transportation refusal to the Emergency Response Team."
