Korea Federation of SMEs Selects Final 20 for 'Noran Usan Promotion Model Contest'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KBIZ) announced on the 22nd that the '2023 Yellow Umbrella Promotional Model Selection Contest' successfully concluded with the final round.
The Yellow Umbrella Promotional Model Selection Contest was newly established this year to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Yellow Umbrella launch. It aims to enhance brand affinity by selecting promotional models from among the subscribers and their families, who have been the driving force behind Yellow Umbrella's growth.
About 1,400 applicants participated in this contest. An eight-member judging panel composed of experts from various fields such as broadcasting, advertising, and entertainment conducted a rigorous evaluation through three stages: first round (document screening), second round (interview and camera test), and third round (final competition), ultimately selecting 20 finalists.
The final round held at the KBIZ Hall of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business featured passionate performances by talented applicants in three categories: Yellow Umbrella subscribers and their families, K-POP hopefuls, and home shopping model division.
The final stage was conducted with the participants' families invited. After the competition, judging and an awards ceremony took place. A total of 20 winners received trophies and cash prizes, including 1 grand prize, 3 gold prizes, 3 silver prizes, 3 bronze prizes, and 10 encouragement prizes.

The selected promotional models will participate in various promotional activities such as appearing in TV commercials and collaborating on digital content production. Additionally, as Yellow Umbrella subscribers and their families, they will promote Yellow Umbrella at business sites nationwide.
