InterContinental Parnas Presents Special Dinner Featuring International Star Chefs
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas announced on the 22nd that from the 2nd to the 11th of next month, it will invite Chef Sawada Kazumi, a master of Japanese cuisine, to its Japanese fine dining restaurant "Hakone."
Chef Sawada is a master of Kyoto cuisine, focusing on the natural flavors and essence of ingredients, and is a Michelin-starred chef renowned not only in Asia but worldwide. Known as a master of kaiseki cuisine, Chef Sawada has prepared a kaiseki course using seasonal natural ingredients such as fresh wild fish and abalone delivered every morning for this special dinner.
The Sawada Kazumi Special Dinner consists of a total of 11 courses, featuring signature dishes highly acclaimed even in Japan, such as steamed Wando abalone with white miso, yuzu-gama stuffed with enokitake mushrooms, a special assortment of five kinds of sashimi, charcoal-grilled golden tilefish served with lotus root tempura, and crab kamameshi rice.
There is also a beverage pairing option carefully selected by the InterContinental’s head sommelier. Four types of wines optimized for Kyoto cuisine, which focuses on the natural flavors of ingredients, can be paired with the dishes.
