Burger King Relaunches 'King Morning' After 2 Years... "A Hearty Breakfast"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Burger King announced on the 21st that it will newly launch the hearty breakfast menu "King Morning," which can only be enjoyed in the morning, after two years.
King Morning features a texture that is soft and comforting even in the morning, combining a double omelet with two eggs that is fluffier and richer, and a soft bun. It is a morning-limited menu available from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m., offered in two types: the "Omelet King Morning" and the "BLT Omelet King Morning," which adds savory bacon, fresh tomato, and lettuce to the double omelet for a heartier option.
Burger King explained that with the endemic phase leading to an increase in students commuting to school and office workers going to work, customer demand for simple breakfast menus has risen, prompting the re-release of King Morning. According to Burger King, morning sales in the third quarter of this year increased by about 113% compared to the same period last year, when remote classes and telecommuting were predominant due to COVID-19.
