This meeting was promoted due to the emerging need for pre-safety inspections of multi-use facilities and festival/event venues following the occurrence of the "Itaewon accident."
Additionally, inspections of safety-vulnerable facilities in preparation for the winter season and the collaboration system with related organizations such as fire stations and police stations will also be conducted.
The inspection targets include 9 sectors, 22 types, and 447 locations. The departments in charge of multi-use facilities and cultural and sports events will establish their own inspection plans and carry out inspections for 30 days from November 10 to December 9.
The key inspection items include facility safety checks, establishment of crowd dispersion and prevention measures during high-density gatherings, and the establishment of on-site response systems with related organizations. Appropriate measures will be taken for any issues found during the inspections.
