This Year's Best Game 'Dungeon & Fighter Mobile'... 2022 Korea Game Awards

On the 16th, Neople's "Dungeon & Fighter Mobile" was awarded the Grand Prize at the "2022 Korea Game Awards" held at BEXCO Convention Hall in Busan.

[Asia Economy Busan=Reporter Lee Seung-jin] Neople's 'Dungeon & Fighter Mobile' was selected as the brightest game in Korea this year.

At the '2022 Korea Game Awards' held on the 16th at BEXCO Convention Hall in Busan, a total of 16 awards were presented across 9 categories.

The Grand Prize was decided by combining the evaluation of a professional judging panel (60%), votes from game industry experts and journalists (20%), and general online voting (20%).

The Grand Prize was awarded to 'Dungeon & Fighter Mobile,' developed by Neople and serviced by Nexon. Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is a reinterpretation of Nexon's core intellectual property (IP), which has 850 million users, adapted for the mobile environment. After its release in March, it surpassed 1 million users on the first day and achieved first place in app market popularity and revenue. It continues to maintain steady popularity, achieving long-term success.

Yoon Myung-jin, Neople's General Director, expressed his gratitude in his acceptance speech, saying, “We thank everyone who recognized the strengths of our game. It took a very long time to make the game, and there were many difficulties. I felt a lot that we lacked experience in creating new titles.”

The Excellence Award went to Motif's 'Uncharted Waters Origin,' and the Merit Awards were given to Netmarble N2's 'Merge Kungya Island,' Com2uS's 'Summoners War: Chronicle,' and Nexon Games' 'HIT2,' respectively.

Among the main awards, the Technology & Creativity category winners were decided by a separate technical and creative review, followed by expert voting weighted at 30%. As a result, 'Uncharted Waters Origin' won in the 'Planning & Scenario' and 'Sound' categories, Netmarble Nexus's 'Seven Knights Revolution' received the award for 'Graphics,' and Nexon Games' 'Blue Archive' was honored in the 'Character' category.
