KDB Life Obtains Exclusive License for 'Photodermatosis Diagnosis Rider'
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] KDB Life announced on the 16th that the "Actinic Keratosis Diagnosis Rider" added to the "KDB Support Cancer Treatment Insurance" has obtained a 3-month exclusive usage right.
“Actinic Keratosis” is a precancerous skin condition caused by continuous exposure to sunlight or artificial light sources. If left untreated, it has a high potential to develop into skin cancer, so early management is necessary.
KDB Life explained that its "(Non-Participating) Actinic Keratosis Diagnosis Rider (Renewable)" was recognized for its originality as the first in the life insurance industry to cover actinic keratosis, a precancerous skin condition, and thus obtained the exclusive usage right.
Customers who subscribe to the product can receive a diagnosis benefit (first time only) if the insured is diagnosed with actinic keratosis during the insurance period.
