Since opening last year, Fairmont Ambassador Seoul has installed a beekeeping site in Yongsan-gu to protect the urban ecosystem and bees, harvesting fresh honey 2 to 3 times a year. The honey harvested this fall has been released as a seasonal limited product named 'Fairmont Honey,' embodying the Fairmont hotel's spirit of ecosystem preservation. Each set consists of two 50g jars. Fairmont Honey is made from honey collected from various wildflowers in Namsan and has been safety-tested and certified by the Korea Beekeeping Association. The hotel stated, "It is also suitable as a gift to family or acquaintances to commemorate a visit to the hotel," and added, "We expect young customers who value ethical consumption to show interest."
Marco Torre, Executive Chef of Fairmont Ambassador Seoul, said, "We plan to continue activities to create a city where people and bees coexist," and added, "We will actively promote the value of bees to customers by producing limited honey products each season when honey is harvested from the hotel's beekeeping site."
