Operation of Emergency Support Team in Case of Water Pipe Freezing Until March Next Year

According to the county, the Water and Sewage Business Office will operate a "Comprehensive Situation Room for Water Facility Freeze Prevention," consisting of four teams and 30 members, including Water and Sewage Business Office staff and six contracted companies, from the 15th of this month until March next year to prepare for heavy snowfall and cold waves due to climate change.
The Comprehensive Situation Room for Water Facility Freeze Prevention will operate an emergency support team to promptly carry out emergency restoration work for damages such as winter water meter pipe bursts and water supply pipe freezing, minimizing inconvenience to residents.
In addition, to prevent water meter pipe bursts and indoor water supply facility freezing, continuous publicity will be conducted through town and township chiefs' meetings and neighborhood meetings to help residents wisely cope with cold waves.
