T'way Air Launches New Jeju~Taipei Route... "Special Discount Airfare Available"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] T'way Air announced on the 10th that it will offer various benefits such as special airfare and discount codes to commemorate the launch of the new Jeju~Taipei route in December.
T'way Air will newly launch the Jeju~Taipei route on December 24 and operate twice a week, increasing to four times a week starting January 3 next year. The flight schedule for the Jeju~Taipei route is based on local time at departure and arrival locations: departing Jeju Airport at 12:00 PM, arriving at Taoyuan Airport at 12:55 PM, departing Taoyuan Airport at 1:55 PM, and arriving in Jeju at 5:10 PM.
From today until the 23rd, a two-week promotion will be held on the T'way Air website, mobile app, and web to celebrate the new route launch. With the event special fare, one-way tickets start at a total of 119,700 KRW per person. When booking a round-trip ticket, entering the discount code ‘CJUTPE’ in the discount code field will immediately apply up to a 10% fare discount. Additionally, the promotion offers one free itinerary change, and payments made via KakaoPay or NH Nonghyup Card provide an extra discount of up to 20,000 KRW.
T'way Air continues to expand international routes from regional airports in response to the increasing travel demand after the pandemic. On the 11th of this month, it resumed flights on the Daegu~Fukuoka, Jeju~Osaka, and Busan~Osaka routes, followed by the resumption of Daegu~Tokyo (Narita) on the 14th and Daegu~Osaka on the 25th.

A T'way Air official stated, “This winter, we recommend a warm Taipei trip where visa-free travel is possible without quarantine, vaccination, or negative test certificates,” adding, “This will help domestic travelers move conveniently and contribute to revitalizing the domestic tourism industry by attracting overseas tourists.”
