Gwangju National Science Museum Hosts the 1st Artificial Intelligence Odyssey Forum
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The National Gwangju Science Museum will hold the 1st Artificial Intelligence Odyssey Forum on the 12th at the Imagination Hall under the theme of "Talking about the Future of Jobs in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."
This forum was planned by the Gwangju Science Museum to discover socio-cultural issues in the Gwangju region leading the field of artificial intelligence and to newly forecast the future society in the AI era.
At this event, participants will have the opportunity to contemplate future jobs that attract great interest from youth and parents in a society changing through artificial intelligence.
The keynote speaker is CEO Hwang Jun-won, author of 'Future Emergence' and operator of the YouTube channel ‘Future Channel MyF,’ who will examine how AI is being utilized in various fields and present forecasts on what kinds of jobs will emerge in the future.
In the expert discussion, Gong Deuk-jo, Director of the GIST Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, Kim Kyung-jin, Scholarship Officer at Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education, and Lee Dong-yoon, Head of Curriculum at Gwangju Science High School, will engage in a discussion on future AI technologies and education for youth.
In the subsequent citizen participation discussion, students and parents attending the event will have time to collectively consider their usual questions about ‘artificial intelligence’ and preparations needed for future society’s jobs.
All forum participants will receive commemorative gifts, and those who answer correctly in the guerrilla quiz held during the keynote lecture will be given special prizes such as books signed by the author related to AI future jobs.
