Jeong Hongsik Appointed as the 41st Director of Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office

According to the Gwangju Veterans Affairs Office on the 7th, the new Director Jeong held a memorial service at the Independence Movement Memorial Tower, the Hyeonchung Tower, and the National May 18th Democratic Cemetery, then held an inauguration ceremony and began his duties.
He entered public service in 1990 and has served as Director of the Military Service Disclosure Division, Director of the Social Service Management Division, and Director of the Enlistment Mobilization Bureau at the Military Manpower Administration.

Director Jeong said, “I believe that veterans policies should advance as first-class veterans affairs that make the Republic of Korea proud and unite the people as one, which meets the expectations of the citizens,” adding, “I will do my best so that veterans families and the public can feel this.”
