The two companies have agreed to jointly develop integrated algorithm, software, and hardware solutions in the metaverse domain based on generative AI. They plan to focus their capabilities on researching and developing next-generation NPUs (Neural Processing Units) optimized for generative AI. Through this, they aim to introduce generative AI semiconductors that significantly improve processing speed, accuracy, and power consumption efficiency, replacing existing GPUs (Graphics Processing Units), and to collaborate in securing competitiveness in the metaverse market based on generative AI in the future.
