Gyeongbuk Office of Education Receives Top 'A Grade' Among 669 Public Institutions in Board of Audit and Inspection Review
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] The Gyeongbuk Office of Education announced on the 7th that it received the highest grade, "A grade," in the "2022 Self-Audit Activity Evaluation" conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection.
The self-audit activity evaluation is conducted annually by the Board of Audit and Inspection to encourage improvement and development of self-audits and to enhance the overall national audit capabilities. It evaluates 669 institutions including central administrative agencies, local governments (metropolitan, educational, basic), and public institutions based on 25 indicators across four areas: audit infrastructure, monitoring activities, audit performance, and follow-up management, assigning grades to each institution.
In this evaluation, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education received excellent assessments overall, especially in monitoring activities, and was awarded the highest grade (A grade) due to outstanding performance in the audit performance area.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education has been recognized as the top institution in the audit field by receiving the highest grade in the public institution integrity measurement and anti-corruption policy evaluation conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, followed by receiving the highest grade in the self-audit activity evaluation conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection.
