The accident occurred just over two weeks after a woman in her 20s died from a similar entrapment accident at SPL Bakery, an SPC affiliate, on October 15.
According to the Sasang Police Station in Busan, around 5 a.m. on the 2nd, a woman in her 20s, identified as Ms. A, was injured when her arm got caught at a ramen manufacturing company in Sasang-gu, Busan, and was transported to a hospital. Although the injury was severe, fortunately, it was reported that her life is not in danger.
Ms. A was working the night shift when her clothing got caught in a rotating machine during the ramen production process, injuring her arm. A coworker discovered the accident and reported it.
