Gyeongsang National University Signs Mutual Cooperation Agreement for Development of Agro-Life and Bio Industries

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Gyeongnam Provincial Government, Jinju Bio Industry Promotion Agency, and Gyeongnam Agricultural and Marine Food Export Association recently announced on the 31st that they have signed a mutual cooperation agreement for the development of the agricultural life and bio industries in the Gyeongnam region.
At the signing ceremony held on the 27th, attendees included Kim Min-cheol, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Gyeongsang National University; Jeong Yeon-sang, Director of Agricultural Policy Bureau at Gyeongnam Provincial Government; Jeong Young-cheol, Director of Jinju Bio Industry Promotion Agency; Kim Ui-su, President of Gyeongnam Agricultural and Marine Food Export Association; and Kim Sam-cheol, Center Director of Agriculture and Life Sciences·Bio ICC at the Industry-Academic Cooperation Leading University Development Project Group of Gyeongsang National University.
In the agreement, these institutions agreed to cooperate in areas including ▲ fostering specialized human resources in the regional agricultural life industry, developing programs, and providing on-site technical consultation for companies’ difficulties ▲ administrative cooperation for fostering the agricultural industry and advancing into overseas markets in the agricultural life and green bio fields ▲ technical and policy cooperation for fostering regional anti-aging bio and green bio industries ▲ cooperation on strategies for pioneering agricultural and marine food export markets, collaboration on overseas exhibitions, promotions, sales events, and exchange of export information for agricultural and marine food products.
Through this business agreement, the four institutions will actively support and establish an organic cooperation system for the development of the agricultural life and bio industries in the Gyeongnam region.

They also agreed to expand the shared and collaborative system among industry, academia, government, and research institutes to strengthen competitiveness and create future value in the agricultural life and bio industries.
