Prosecutors Summon Former Minister of Science and ICT Yoo Young-min Over 'Blacklist Allegations'
The 6th Criminal Division of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office is summoning and investigating former Minister Yoo on the morning of the 28th on charges of abuse of authority and obstruction of the exercise of rights.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Yoo Young-min, former Minister of Science and ICT, who was accused in connection with the Moon Jae-in administration blacklist allegations, appeared before the prosecution.
According to the legal community on the 28th, the Criminal Division 6 of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office is summoning and investigating former Minister Yoo, who was reported on charges of abuse of authority, this morning.
Former Minister Yoo is suspected of conspiring with former 1st Vice Minister of Science and ICT Lee Jin-gyu, former Planning and Coordination Office Director Ma Chang-hwan, and Innovation Headquarters Director Lim Dae-sik to pressure Lim Ki-chul, former President of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Planning and Evaluation, to resign starting around June 2017.
