View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] Lee Won-mo, Personnel Secretary of the Presidential Secretariat, reported assets totaling 44.6 billion KRW. Secretary Lee was found to have the largest amount of assets among the senior officials of the Presidential Office whose assets have been disclosed so far.
The Government Official Ethics Committee disclosed on the 28th the assets of 97 senior officials who were newly appointed, promoted, or retired between July 2 and August 1.
Among the officials of the Presidential Secretariat whose assets were disclosed this time, there are 10 people. Among them, Secretary Lee reported assets worth 44.6 billion KRW, making him the wealthiest among the newly registered senior officials of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration's Presidential Secretariat who disclosed their assets this month and so far.
Secretary Lee's assets include unlisted stocks worth 32.8572 billion KRW held by his wife: 20,000 shares of Green Myeongpum Pharmaceutical, 40,000 shares of Jaseng Bio, and 20,000 shares of JSD One. He also owns buildings worth 6.03937 billion KRW, including an apartment pre-sale right in Hangangno 2-ga, Yongsan-gu, Seoul under his name, an apartment in Tower Palace, Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul under his wife's name, and 64 stores in a commercial building in Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul.
On the same day, Joo Jin-woo, Legal Secretary of the Presidential Secretariat, disclosed assets totaling 7.26629 billion KRW. Secretary Joo did not own any houses but reported deposits of 1.53 billion KRW in his name, 820 million KRW in his spouse's name, and 740 million KRW in his eldest son's name.
The assets of Kim Joo-hyun, Financial Services Commission Chairman appointed in July, were also disclosed. Chairman Kim reported a total of 2.91243 billion KRW, including a pre-sale right for an apartment in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Among the retirees in July, former Financial Services Commission Chairman Ko Seung-beom had the largest assets. Former Chairman Ko reported a total of 6.68427 billion KRW, including an apartment in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and deposits worth 2 billion KRW.
