On the 27th, Kim Si-woo carried Oh Ji-hyun’s bag during the first round of the SK Networks·Seoul Economic Ladies Classic, part of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, held at Pinx Golf Club in Seogwipo, Jeju (par 72, 6,727 yards). Kim Si-woo had just returned briefly to Korea after finishing the PGA Tour’s THE CJ CUP in South Carolina, USA, on the 24th, and came to the tournament venue as a gallery member that day.
Following Oh Ji-hyun’s game, Kim Si-woo received a vest from Oh’s regular caddie at the 18th hole (par 4) and took over carrying the bag. Oh Ji-hyun’s tee shot split the fairway in the middle on the 18th hole, and her second shot landed 3 meters from the hole. After carefully analyzing the green line with Kim Si-woo’s advice, she confidently sank the birdie putt. Having secured birdies on two consecutive holes, including the 17th hole (par 3), Oh Ji-hyun finished the first round comfortably with a 2-under-par 70.

Kim Si-woo and Oh Ji-hyun are getting married this December. Kim Si-woo has won three times on the PGA Tour, including THE PLAYERS Championship, known as the ‘fifth major,’ while Oh Ji-hyun has claimed seven victories on the KLPGA Tour.
