Shinsegae Simon Appoints ‘MD Expert’ Kim Youngseop, Executive Director of Shinsegae DF, as CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Kim Youngseop, Executive Director of Shinsegae DF, has been appointed as the CEO of Shinsegae Simon on the 27th.
Shinsegae Group announced the 2023 regular executive personnel appointments on the same day.
CEO Kim has built expertise as a merchandise planner (MD) in charge of overseas fashion and accessories. This CEO appointment is interpreted as a personnel move to strengthen expertise by organization.
CEO Kim was born in 1965 in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and graduated from the Department of Law at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
He joined Shinsegae Department Store Yeongdeungpo Branch in 1992 and served as senior member of the overseas fashion team, assistant managing director and managing director in charge of overseas accessories.
