Korea Kolmar Awarded 'Excellence in Reading Management Workplace'
Seongmin Networks, Aureum Planet, and others receive the Grand Prize
Korea Kolmar will receive the 'Excellent Workplace for Reading Management' award.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Publication Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and the National Brand Promotion Agency announced 154 excellent workplaces for reading management this year on the 27th. These are companies and institutions that practice reading-friendly management and encourage a culture of reading within the workplace. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism grants certification and awards.
Korea Kolmar has conducted in-house reading campaigns since its early days. It regards reading as a core value and operates various programs such as reading education and clubs. Reading reviews are also reflected in individual performance evaluations.
Five organizations including Seongmin Networks, Aureum Planet, World Vision Social Welfare Foundation Gyeongnam·Ulsan Regional Headquarters, Jeju Free International City Development Center, and Korea East-West Power receive the grand prize.
Seongmin Networks guarantees 30 minutes of reading time every morning, and Aureum Planet shares reading knowledge through social networking services. World Vision Gyeongnam·Ulsan Regional Headquarters opens its in-house library to pursue regional coexistence. Jeju Free International City Development Center shares reading information and book reviews through its own dedicated reading education website, and Korea East-West Power has created an environment where employees can read books anytime and anywhere.

The award ceremony will be held on the 11th of next month at the Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Hall.
