The Park Young Hak Foundation, which operates the school, announced on the 25th at the board meeting that former Busan Mayor Heo Nam-sik was appointed as the new president. His term is for two years, from November 25, 2022, to November 24, 2024.
The Park Young Hak Foundation stated that they highly evaluated the new president's expertise in organizational management and rich experience in innovation, leading to his appointment as president of Silla University.
Heo Nam-sik, the newly appointed president of Silla University, graduated from Korea University and Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration, and earned a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Kyungsung University Graduate School.
