‘10th Anniversary’ Special Lecture at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History: ‘Records of Reflection on the Republic of Korea’
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History will hold a special lecture on the 27th under the theme "Records of Reflection on the Republic of Korea" to commemorate its 10th anniversary.
The lecturer is Jin-Hyun Kim, former chairman of the establishment committee of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History. He will explain the significance of establishing the museum and the identity of the Republic of Korea as understood through his diverse personal experiences.
Former chairman Jin-Hyun Kim served as Minister of Science and Technology and President of the University of Seoul. Starting with the establishment of the Korea Economic Research Institute, he led the founding of ten research institutions in fields such as maritime affairs, science and technology, and the future. He was co-chairman of the Globalization Promotion Committee and active as president of commemorative organizations including the Republic of Korea Foundation for National Foundation Commemoration, as well as those honoring Lee Bong-chang, Ahn Jae-hong, and Jang Jun-ha. He also served as a representative of various NGOs in areas such as economy, unification, peace, and environment.
