KOTRA Hosts Korea-ASEAN Project Plaza... Matching 26 Buyers Including Energy Sector Companies
"Philippines to Soon Officially Sign FTA with Korean Government... Raw Material Supply Chain Partner"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] KOTRA announced that, together with the Korea Plant Industries Association, it will hold the 'Korea-ASEAN Project Plaza' event for two days starting on the 25th in Manila, Philippines.
The event will be attended by 26 domestic EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and technology supply companies in the fields of eco-friendly plants, energy, and transportation infrastructure, along with more than 30 buyers from the ASEAN region. They will discuss cooperation plans for building eco-friendly infrastructure.
The event will also be held online for three days from the 2nd to the 4th of next month. During this period, government agencies and private buyers from ASEAN countries will conduct 40 one-on-one online consultations with domestic companies.
According to KOTRA, the Philippines is attracting attention as a country about to formally sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Korean government, making it a potential key partner for Korea's raw material supply chain cooperation in the future.

Kim Myungsoo, head of KOTRA Manila Trade Center, said, "Renewable energy and international carbon reduction fields with ASEAN countries will be another area of cooperation," adding, "We plan to continue developing the event as a platform for our companies to enter the ASEAN market."
