According to the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters on the 20th, at the '8th National Volunteer Fire Brigade Lecture Contest' held from the 19th to 20th of this month at Sono Belle Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, Guri Fire Station and Guri Women's Volunteer Fire Brigade won the Grand Prize in the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation category. In addition, Anseong Fire Station and Gongdo Women's Volunteer Fire Brigade won the Excellence Award in the Life Safety category.
About 500 volunteer firefighters and fire officials from across the country participated in this contest, competing in two categories: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Life Safety, showcasing their lecture skills.
This contest was held to enhance the professional teaching abilities of volunteer firefighters and to promote a culture of safety among the public, fulfilling their role as safety guardians.
