Goodoc-Kimedi Sign MOU to Expand Hospital and Healthcare Ecosystem

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Goodoc and KIMEDI announced on the 20th that they have signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for business cooperation to expand the hospital and medical support ecosystem.
Through this business agreement, both companies plan to collaborate on building a medical support system that assists hospital operations. The strategy aims to enhance digital medical accessibility and improve patient convenience in medical care.
Goodoc is the No.1 healthcare platform in Korea, used by 1.5 million users and 5,000 hospitals monthly. It is strengthening its competitiveness through a ‘super app’ strategy that digitalizes the entire patient treatment process, including nationwide hospital reservations, non-face-to-face consultations, and reception tablets.
KIMEDI is a medical academic portal site with 40,000 members. Recently, it has been promoting the establishment of an integrated medical ecosystem including doctors, pharmaceutical companies, and medical associations, expanding its business areas both online and offline.
Im Jinseok, CEO of Goodoc, said, “Through this business agreement, it will be possible to reduce the overall workload by introducing a reservation system that improves hospital operation efficiency and expanding the distribution of reception tablets at hospital sites.” He added, “We expect this to further strengthen the connection between doctors and patients.”

Kim Myungjin, CEO of KIMEDI, stated, “KIMEDI has established itself as a medical academic platform used by about 40% of the 110,000 doctors in Korea,” and added, “Through this agreement, we will strive to provide content and services that help our doctor members.”
