Jeonnam Police Agency Conducts Joint Anti-Terrorism Drill with Related Agencies to Prepare for Drone Complex Terrorism
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Jeonnam Police Agency announced on the 19th that it conducted a joint anti-terrorism drill with 180 participants from eight organizations, including Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, the 31st Division, Naju City, Naju Fire Station, Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office, and Yeosu Chemical Disaster Joint Prevention Center, at Naju Sports Park.
The drill assumed complex situations such as drone terrorism, which has recently become an issue, chemical terrorism, explosives, and hostage terrorism. The focus was on mastering step-by-step response methods in case of terrorism occurrence and strengthening the establishment of an efficient response system by each organization.
Additionally, to minimize public damage through prompt and timely initial actions by the on-site commander during a terrorism situation, the chiefs and security division heads of 21 police stations under Jeonnam Police Agency observed the drill.

A Jeonnam Police official stated, “We will continue efforts to create a safe Jeonnam from terrorism by maintaining continuous terrorism prevention activities and establishing a joint response system with related organizations that can immediately respond in case of an incident.”
