[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A famous pianist who sent obscene photos to his wife, who filed for divorce, has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 19th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that on the 5th, they had sent a pianist in his 30s, Mr. A, to the prosecution on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (obscenity using communication media).
Mr. A is accused of sending several obscene photos to his wife via KakaoTalk during their divorce lawsuit in September 2019. It is reported that after being blocked by his wife on messaging, Mr. A also tried to contact her through email.
The wife reportedly filed a complaint in June, stating that she felt sexual humiliation after receiving the photos and emails sent by Mr. A.
