Gyeongnam University Co-Hosts Humanities Brunch "Wisdom Found in Eastern and Western Literature"
Online 'ZOOM' Sessions at Masanhappo Library and Seocho-gu Yangjae Library Until November 22
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Institute of Liberal Arts Education at Gyeongnam National University will operate a humanities brunch lecture series titled ‘Wisdom Discovered in Eastern and Western Literature’ in collaboration with Masanhappo Library and Seocho-gu Yangjae Library until November 22.
This lecture series consists of a total of 8 sessions, with 4 sessions each on ▲The Famous Writings of Tao Yuanming (Professor Kim Chang-hwan, Gyeongnam National University) and ▲Famous Greek Tragedies (Professor Kang Dae-jin, Gyeongnam National University). The lecture on Tao Yuanming’s famous writings has been held online via ‘ZOOM’ every Thursday at 11 a.m. since October 6, and starting in November, the lecture on famous Greek tragedies will be held every Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Anyone interested in the humanities can participate in the lectures free of charge by registering through the Masanhappo Library website or online via Zoom.
