Lotte Mart Launches 'Hangun Beef Bulgogi Pizza' with Price Increase to 19,800 Won

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Lotte Mart's own pizza brand 'Cheese & Dough' announced on the 19th that it will launch the 'Hangeun Beef Bulgogi Pizza,' which contains one geun of beef bulgogi, at a price in the 10,000 KRW range.
The 'Hangeun Beef Bulgogi Pizza' is topped with approximately 600g of beef bulgogi on an 18-inch pizza, which has twice the surface area of a 13-inch large size pizza. The amount of bulgogi topping is about three times more than that of other franchise pizzas. The price is 19,800 KRW.
The reason it can be offered at this price is that Lotte Mart uses shiitake beef bulgogi produced in-house at its Fresh Quality Innovation Center and supplies it to stores, enabling reductions in production and logistics costs.
The 'Hangeun Beef Bulgogi Pizza' was developed with direct participation from a Western cuisine chef at Lotte Mart's Food Innovation Center (FIC), ensuring both taste and quality. In particular, during the development process, to address the issue of excessive juice generated from the large amount of beef bulgogi, a pre-processing step was added to lightly par-cook the beef before topping.
Along with this, Lotte Mart will hold a discount event from the 20th to the 26th, selling 'Hantonggadeuk Tangsuyuk' at 7,800 KRW, discounted by 2,000 KRW from the regular price of 9,800 KRW. This discount event offers benefits to all customers.
