Hi Investment & Securities Implements 'Customer Panel Proposal System' to Strengthen Financial Consumer Protection
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Hi Investment & Securities announced on the 18th that it will implement a customer panel proposal system to enhance the rights and interests of financial consumers and strengthen a consumer-centered corporate culture.
This customer panel proposal system is part of the financial consumer protection campaign that Hi Investment & Securities has been conducting since June. So far, Hi Investment & Securities has designated a Financial Consumer Protection Day every month and distributed the ‘Financial Consumer Protection Guide Book’ to all employees.
The first customer panel will operate for six months from December 2022 with a scale of 20 to 30 members. Through the customer panel system, the company plans to listen to various customer opinions regarding its financial products and services.
Hi Investment & Securities will recruit applicants for the customer panel from October 17 to November 16 via the dedicated customer panel email (sobo@hi-ib.com), and all Hi Investment & Securities customers are eligible to apply.
Customers selected as panel members can freely propose opinions related to financial consumer protection during the activity period, opinions on financial product development and new products, and suggestions for improvements regarding systems and services.
Hi Investment & Securities will provide a 50,000 KRW gift certificate to all panel members who submit proposals, and will award outstanding proposals with mobile gift certificates of 300,000 KRW (1 person), 200,000 KRW (2 people), and 100,000 KRW (2 people).
The head of the Consumer Protection Department at Hi Investment & Securities stated, “We plan to actively reflect the diverse opinions of the customer panel in system improvements to provide easier and safer services,” and added, “We ask for many customers’ participation and interest.”
