On the 18th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced that on the 14th, it decided not to prosecute 11 YTN reporters accused of defamation by spreading false information, citing "no charges."
On January 28, 11 YTN reporters issued a statement urging former YTN anchor Byun Sang-wook to resign, saying, "Stop disgracing YTN and quietly leave."
