[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Lotte Confectionery announced on the 18th that it has launched the autumn menu of the meal kit "Chefood (Shefood) Meeting the Seasons."
Chefood Meeting the Seasons was first introduced in February under the theme of the flavors of the four seasons when Lotte Confectionery (then Lotte Food) entered the meal kit business. The autumn menu features seven dishes using seasonal ingredients, including the hearty meat sundae and rich, nutty perilla sundae hot pot, soft and savory dried radish greens braised with pollack, peanut cream gnocchi topped with crushed peanuts for a rich flavor, and mushroom cube steak rice bowl combining three types of mushrooms and beef. Among the seafood dishes are spicy octopus and tender beef hot pot simmered in a savory broth, octopus ink risotto filled with plenty of octopus and a rich truffle aroma, and spicy and pungent seafood mala xiang guo.
With the addition of this autumn menu, Chefood Meeting the Seasons now offers a lineup covering all four seasons. Including the initial seven winter menu items, three each for spring and summer, and seven for autumn, a total of 20 menu items are now available. Lotte Confectionery plans to continuously develop new menus that suit each season and trend.

A Lotte Confectionery official said, "With the launch of this new menu, we have presented the flavors of all four seasons," adding, "We will strive to deliver even more diverse seasonal tastes."
