At this competition held at the Korea Confectionery School in Seoul, Lee Hyun-jung, who won the grand prize in the cake category, received the highest evaluation for depicting nature with five animals symbolizing Africa, including a lion, and was awarded a scholarship of 1 million won along with the grand prize.
In this competition, where skills were tested for 8 hours each in the baking and cake categories, Suseong University second-year student Nam Gyu-na and first-year student Choi Mi-ra won silver prizes.
