He further emphasized, "The struggle to overcome distorted ideological viewpoints, including irresponsibility and opportunism, must be continuously carried out to prevent the persistence of incorrect work styles," and stressed, "Any phenomena that contradict the Party's sound work style, such as factionalism, bureaucratism, corrupt practices, extraneous burdens, as well as neglecting the people and infringing on their rights and interests, must not be tolerated even for a moment and must be decisively eliminated."
General Secretary Kim's visit was accompanied by Jo Yong-won, Organizational Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretaries Ri Il-hwan, Kim Jae-ryong, Jeon Hyun-chol, Park Tae-sung, and Party Central Committee Deputy Director Joo Chang-il.
