Daehan Electric Wire announced on the 17th that it discussed business cooperation plans with Saudi Arabia's Aramco, the world's largest oil company, at Hoban Park (located in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu).
The meeting was attended by more than 20 key officials, including Ahmad Al Sadi, Senior Vice President of Aramco; Muteeb Al Habib, CEO of Aramco Korea; Bandar Al Otaibi, Head of Procurement; Kim Seon-gyu, Chairman of Hoban Group; Song Jong-min, Vice Chairman of Hoban Industry; and Na Hyung-gyun, President of Daehan Electric Wire.
Both companies agreed on strengthening their business cooperation. Daehan Electric Wire requested extensive support for the ongoing construction of a Saudi ultra-high voltage cable manufacturing plant and proposed creating business opportunities together in various fields such as power and infrastructure.

Na Hyung-gyun, President of Daehan Electric Wire, stated, “As the importance of the energy industry grows worldwide, collaboration with Aramco, the world's largest oil company, will be an important opportunity to strengthen global partnerships.” He added, “As the relationship between the two companies becomes closer, we expect expanded opportunities to participate in large-scale projects such as power and infrastructure businesses conducted in Korea and Saudi Arabia.”
